Fedwire - Introduction to Tazapay

Fedwire is the Federal Reserve’s real-time gross settlement system. It is the primary high-value payment rail in the US, used for same-day fund transfers between participating financial institutions. Each transaction settles individually and irrevocably in real time during operating hours.

Beneficiary Statement Narrative	Ultimate Remitter name + memo / transaction description field (not guaranteed — subject to recipient bank)

Settlement Time	Same day (if initiated within cutoff)
Rail Availability	Mon–Fri, US business days

Note on Fedwire cutoff times:

Early closure at 2:00 PM ET may occur on any business day (including Fridays) preceding a US federal holiday.
Payouts initiated after the effective cutoff will be processed on the next available business day.
