Creating a Payout via Dashboard

Choose who the payout is for

Answer Create Payout on Behalf of another Entity?

• Select No to create the payout for your own account.
• Select Yes if you are initiating the payout for a connected customer entity. See Payouts on Behalf Of for how entities and payouts relate. You’ll then need to pick the entity the payout is being made for.

Select or add a beneficiary

Under Beneficiary Details, search by beneficiary name or ID under Send to, or pick one from Recent Beneficiaries. Each entry shows the beneficiary’s bank, account number, country, and currency.To pay someone new, click Add New Beneficiary and fill in:

Field	Description
Country	Country where the beneficiary’s bank account is held
Currency	Currency the beneficiary will receive. Derived from the country selected
Type	Business or Individual
Account Holder Name	Name on the bank account
Name of the Bank	Beneficiary’s bank name
Beneficiary Address (optional)	Street address, building, city, state, country, and postal code

Additional fields (such as tax ID, national ID, or wallet details) may be required depending on the beneficiary’s country and destination type. See the beneficiary_details object in Creating a Payout via API for the full set of supported fields.

Fill in the payout details

Under Payout Details, enter:

Field	Description
Payout Amount (You transfer)	Amount and currency you want the beneficiary to receive. If it differs from your holding currency, an indicative FX rate and the converted Beneficiary gets amount are shown automatically
Payout Type	You can select Local or SWIFT to route the payout
Make Payout From	The holding balance currency to debit for this payout
Payment Reason	Purpose of the payout. See the supported purpose codes
Reference ID (optional)	Your own reference for this payout
Description	Additional details about the payout
Supporting Documents (optional)	Upload invoices or other documents supporting the payout

Any applicable payout charge and the total that will be deducted from your balance are displayed before you submit.
