When funds arrive in a Collection Account, what happens next depends on whether the incoming currency matches one of your holding currencies on your Tazapay balance. This means you can choose to hold balances in the same currencies you collect in — useful for natural-hedge use cases — or consolidate everything into a single primary currency.

Tracking FX on Collects

When an incoming collect is converted, the FX details are captured on the resulting balance transaction. The balance_transaction_id will be present on the collect object — so you can trace the full chain from collect → FX conversion → credited balance directly from the collect.
