We’ve upgraded Tazapay Sandbox to make testing faster, smoother, and much closer to Production — so you can validate your integration with minimal dependency on support teams.

1) Sync Production Configs to Sandbox

You can now sync your Production account configurations into Sandbox, ensuring your Sandbox environment mirrors your live setup. This includes your full Production configuration such as:
  • Feature enablements
  • Payment method enablements
  • Holding currency setup
  • Fees, pricing, and FX structure

Why this is powerful

  • Even before KYB is approved, the Account Manager , today already has the ability to configure the Production account with the agreed setup, with this enhancement merchants can quickly sync and start testing in sandbox while we can still review their account, reducing the go-live time.
  • Testing new features in Sandbox – Whenever new features are enabled on Production account, merchants can easily test them in sandbox now as sandbox will behave exactly like their live Production account — giving them a reliable environment to test new capabilities before using them in live flows.

How to Sync

To sync your accounts, navigate to Production Merchant Dashboard -> Settings -> Integrations -> Sandbox -> Add Sandbox -> Sync now. Note: This feature is controlled via RBAC (Role-Based Access Control). If your team members do not have full access, you will need to enable the appropriate permission for them to use the sync functionality.

2) Collection Simulations (Enabled by Default)

Collection Accounts are now available by default in Sandbox. You can use these accounts to simulate the complete lifecycle of a collect transaction, including all possible states. This allows you to thoroughly test how your integration handles different collect scenarios without requiring manual intervention. This can be done by navigating to Sandbox dashboard -> Virtual Accounts/Wallets -> Simulate Collect.

3) Entity Simulations (Enabled by Default)

Entity creation is now enabled by default in Sandbox. You can create entities and simulate all entity lifecycle states, enabling you to test entity flows end-to-end in a fully controlled environment. This can be done by navigating to Sandbox dashboard -> Entities -> Entity Detail Page -> Simulate Entity Review.
